I don't understand mum sometimes, she constantly complains about me and my siblings not listening but she's no better than us, where the hell does she think we got it from. I've come to a conclusion, there is some kind of weird "ability" running in a small portion of my mothers side of my family. My family is Icelandic and well most Icelandic people speak in an Icelandic accent while speaking English (an accent I can neither stand nor understand (no pun intended)). However there are those that adapt to other accents (not exactly that rare though), however there is usually a "visible" reason for that, like for example my sister lived in Ireland for little over a year a few years back, and adapted to speaking Irish-English while she lived there.
